Answer to my last question 10

What are the decisive factors to be sentecsed to death?

I believe each crime should have the apporpriate punishment and i wanted to know what kind of factors judges do use to choose each punishment.
These are some common factors judges consider,
・whether it was the first-time to commit a crime or a it was a repeat offender.
・whether the offender was helping the main offender or if he was the main offender
・whether the offender committed the crime under personal stress or duress
・whether anyone was hurt
・the motivation
・the offenders age
However there are some cases that the sentence has a bias toward race and it is unfair.

As it is something really important what sentence the offender should get, i hope judges or people who have the right to make the choie be responsible and make sure there are no bias and o course flse accusation.

Answer to my question 8 and 9

Q8How much does it cost to execute one person to death?

According to a study in seattle, the punishment of death penalty costed $1 million more than in similar cases without it. Executing costed $3.07 million and punishment that isn't sentenced to death is $2.01 million.
"Costs of the Death Penalty",Death Penalty Infomation Center,web.2015. 23 July 2015.

I was really surprised to know that how expensive death penalty costs. I thought that life imprisonment cost more because of the money for food and other things you need to live their life in prison.

Q9How long does it take to execute one person to death?
In 2012, a death row inmate waited 178 months that is 15 years between sentencing and execution.
There are some case where it took 40 years and the one who is waiting would be in fear of when the day would come.
In some counties the date to be exectued is not told, however i think that is too cruel because they have the right to at least know when they are going to die.

answer to my last question

How often does criminal in the death row try to escape? And how many of them actually succeed?

Criminals rarely escape from prisons not even once in a year.
Much less than once a year.
Though there are various ways that they escape.
There are some cases that they succeeded though most of the time they get captured very fast.
One way is that they escape during the police transporting the criminals to other place.
Other way is that they break the grate of windows and escape or making holes in the wall.

Answer to my question 7

What is the difference between Corprol punishment and Capital punishment?

This is an simple question.
Corporal punishment is the physical punishment of people especially by hitting them.
On the other hand Capital punishment is almost the same as death penalty meaning that it is a punishment that is sentencd to death.

I believe both punishment are cruel enough, but if i were to be executed, getting the corporal punishment is much more cruel because you get the pain all the time.

the sources are from the longman dictionary.

Answer to my queston 6

Which county does the execution in public?

In a long time ago, some countries such as France, Britain, Italy, and even in Japan had public execution.
Although these country have stopped ,China had been executing in public for a long period and the photos have been revealed in the internet.

According to Amnesty International, in 2012 public executions were known to have been carried out in Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Somalia.

I was terrified to know that there were countries where such cruel death penalty punishments were being executed in public.
I cannot image how it is like to be in those countries.

Answer to my question 4 and 5
