What is the difference between corporal punishment and capital punishment?

Corporal punishment is a type of physical punishment and it includes flogging, canning, mutilation, and branding. It is not only apply to criminals but to all offenders because it varies to a mild one to a harsh one. It could be applied to a child, to a prisoner, and to anyone who offensive.
